Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship (PACE)
2024–Present (as of 6/11/25)
As the Marketing Coordinator, my role is to promote upcoming PACE events and opportunities. When I first started, the program primarily posted infographics about upcoming events. I took a different approach by revamping the social media presence — giving the Instagram feed a more authentic, human touch. I began using event photos as the main cover image, with the infographic as the next slide, creating a more engaging and relatable experience for our audience.
Over the past year, I’ve launched several new Instagram Reel segments, including:
IAN IN THE STREETS — where we ask students about their favorite local shops, foods, drinks, and more, with the intent of building connections with local businesses.
KEEP UP THE PACE — a bi-weekly video series announcing upcoming events for the next two weeks.
ON THE SPOT — where we ask students quick questions about their goals, academics, and fun, lighthearted topics.
THE NEXT WAVE by PACE — a podcast giving student entrepreneurs a platform to share their business journeys, while also featuring business leaders and community members discussing their experiences.
TOTE-ALLY PACE - a what’s up in my bag segment where we ask PACE Leaders a series of questions relating to their items in their bag.
In addition to these new segments, I’ve ramped up our overall social media strategy by prioritizing video content to boost engagement and reach.
